THERE GOES FLORIDA--I think Obama can forget Florida. Yesterday's snubbing of Israel's PM should do the trick. Perhaps Obama's schedule was too full to listen to the PM's war plans or concern over Egyptian developments.

BLAMING U TUBE---Muslim extremists attack the US Embassys in Egypt and Libya on the 11th Anniversary of 9-11 and then blame a U Tube video as the reason. Obama buy that? One more American life gone.

TARP and Banking--The CEO of Wells Fargo today on NBC made the case that under TARP all banks were required to take TARP money even though Wells did not want it and did not need it. His premise was that had the government not paniced and allowed only those banks who needed money for liquidity purposes to apply for a cash infusion it is likely that the stock market would not have lost confidenence in all banks and would not have suffered the 50% drop.
The leaser of the TARP program today admitted the Wells did not need the money. The result was a drop from $33 to $7.50 in Wells stock price. It is now back to $33 nearly 4 years later. He also contends that Dodd-Frank does nothing to prevent another banking crisis except to make people think there cannot be bank failures. His point is that there will always be bank failures if you want them to loan money. His bank lost $22B last year on bank loans but still made sizeable profits. That is the business of banking. Government cannot and should not be in the business of taking risk out of the free enterprise system. The more restirctions they regulate into it the less it functions freely. And, the result he contends is what you see today--less lending and a slower economy.

MY FIRM(Executive Search)--completed our Fiscal Year with the lowest sales since 2009. Lack of confidence by managers is keeping them from hiring despite fairly robust interviewing. Hopefully, America will see a boost in confidence when the election is over. However, Senator McCain said yesterday that as many as 1 MILLION workers could be laid off in the Defense industry alone if the defense cuts are implemented.

LAYOFFS---This week HP announced they are increasing their layoffs from 27,000 to 29,000 and another high tech firm will layoff another 1000.

PUBLIC UNION POWER MOVE--in Chicago where the city has been run by DEMOCRATIC mayors since the 60's the teacher's union sensing a weak Democratic party facing a tough election (similar to Putin, Assad and Arab Spring leaders) decided to go on strike and embarrass the Democrats into giving in to their demands. Another new proposal is on the table today after 3 days of strikes so it will work. However, Chicago schools unlike Massachusetts schools have among the worst record of student failure in the country. But, Illinois, who can't pay their bills any way will cave in by week's end. Here you have a glimpse of the country's future: public unions forcing politicians to pay for their votes. Ronald Reagen stood firm realizing that public union worker strikes could paralyze a city or a nation. I would guess America could replace those 20,000 teachers in less than 30 days with recent college graduates happy to have the jobs.

"ACTIONS---"by Bill McCormick; must say , the best 'FACT CHECK' I've seen so far.

THE LAWYER'S PARTY;by Bruce Walker. A little 'long winded' but answers many questions; especially toward motivation.

Barack

Obama
is a lawyer.
Michelle

Obama
is a lawyer.

Hillary

Clinton
is a lawyer. Bill
Clinton
is a lawyer.

John
Edwards
is a lawyer.
Elizabeth

Edwards
was a lawyer.

Every Democrat
nominee
since 1984 went to law school (although Gore
Did not graduate).

Every Democrat vice presidential
nominee
since 1976, except for
Lloyd

Bentsen
, went to law school.

Look at leaders of the Democrat Party in Congress:

Harry
Reid
is a lawyer.
Nancy

Pelosi
is a lawyer.

The Republican Party is different.

President Bush is a businessman.

Vice President
Cheney
is a businessman.

The leaders of the Republican Revolution:

Newt
Gingrich
was a history professor.

Tom Delay was an
exterminator
.
Dick

Armey
was an economist.

House Minority Leader
Boehner
was a plastic manufacturer.

The former Senate Majority Leader Bill First is a heart surgeon.

Who was the last Republican president who was a lawyer?
Gerald
Ford,
Who left office 31 years ago and who barely
won
the Republican
Nomination as a sitting president, running against
Ronald

Reagan
in
1976.

The Republican Party is made up of real people doing real work, who
Are often the targets of lawyers.

The Democrat Party is made up of lawyers. Democrats mock and scorn men
Who create wealth, like Bush and
Cheney
, or who heal the sick,

LikeFrist
, or who immerse themselves in history, like
Gingrich
. The
Lawyers Party sees these sorts of people, who provide goods and
Services that people want, as the enemies of America .. And, so we
Have seen the procession of official enemies, in the eyes of the
Lawyers Party, grow.

Against whom do
Hillary
and
Obama
rail?....
Pharmaceutical
companies,
Oil companies, hospitals, manufacturers, fast food restaurant chains,
Large retail businesses, bankers, and anyone producing anything of
Value in our nation. This is the natural consequence of viewing
Everything through the eyes of lawyers. Lawyers solve problems by
Successfully representing their clients, in this case the American
People. Lawyers seek to have new laws passed, they seek to win
Lawsuits, they press appellate courts to overturn precedent, and
Lawyers always parse language to
favor
their side.

Confined to the narrow practice of law, that is fine. But it is an
Awful way to govern a great nation. When politicians as lawyers begin
To view some Americans as clients and other Americans as opposing
Parties, then the role of the legal system in our life becomes
All-consuming. Some Americans become adverse parties of our very
Government. We are not all
litigants
in some vast social class-action
Suit. We are citizens of a republic that promises us a great deal of
Freedom from laws, from courts, and from lawyers.

Today, we are drowning in laws; we are
contorted
by judicial
Decisions; we are driven to distraction by omnipresent lawyers in all
Parts of our once private lives. America has a place for laws and
Lawyers, but that place is modest and reasonable, not vast and
Unchecked. When the most important decision for our next president is
Whom he will appoint to the Supreme Court, the role of lawyers and the
Law in America is too big.

When House Democrats sue America in order to
hamstring
our efforts to
Learn what our enemies are planning to do to us, then the role of
Litigation in America has become crushing.

Perhaps Americans will understand that change cannot be brought to our
Nation by those lawyers who already largely dictate American society
And business. Perhaps Americans will see that hope does not come from
The mouths of lawyers but from personal dreams nourished by hard work.
Perhaps Americans will embrace the truth that more lawyers with more
Power will only make our problems worse.

The United States has 5% of the world's population and 66% of the
world's lawyers!
Tort
(Legal) reform legislation has been introduced
In congress several times in the last several years to limit punitive
Damages in ridiculous lawsuits such as spilling hot coffee on yourself
And suing the establishment that sold it to you and also to limit
Punitive damages in huge medical
malpractice
lawsuits. This
Legislation has continually been blocked from even being voted on by
The Democrat Party. When you see that 97% of the political
Contributions from the American Trial Lawyers Association go to the
Democrat Party, then you realize who is responsible for our medical
And product costs being so high!

Please -- DO PASS THIS ON!!!

The restrictions on cabinet members are laid out in the Hatch Act - no speeches; cannot be a delegate for example. However, attendance is not legally prohibited. See the opinion of the White House General Counsel at http://www.doi.gov/ethics/docs/2012_Agency_Convention_Guidance.pdf.

ACTIONS SPEAK LOUDER THAN WORDS---I thought I was watching a celebration of success. Fortunately for me at 5pm yesterday I attendied the movie Obamna's America 2016. Anyone cnsidering voting for Obama or not shoud see this movie. It is not your normal anti-Obama peice. It is a documentary attempting to understand Obama's motivations, goals and how he got them. The first half the movie investigates where Obama came from and is mostly based on Obama's own testimony in his book: Dreams From My Father. Dreams is a good title as Obama only met his father once. From is perhaps a misleading word in that the dreams were his own imagination developed from the words of his mother who, herself, only knew the man for a few years before he left to find his 3rd wife. The second half of the movie are more the conclusions drawn from the investigation as to what Obama believes and is trying to accomplish. They will intrigue you. They will challenge you to wonder if they can really be true? And, if they are then they will scare you into a safer choice. I was impressed at the intelligence level of his relatives in Kenya. I was interested in his experiences. As for how far I believe Obama has gone to the anti Colonialist, socialist side determined to payback the world for the sins of the British and American colonialism I'm not sure. But, I am sure he is trying to make amends for the feelings he heard from his mother and the political views attributed to a father he imagined. See it.

Today's job numbers say it all: 96,000 jobs created in August. More of the same. $110B deficit for August added to the $16 Trillion debt. We are going no where. And he is leading the parade. Here are some of the glaring problems with his "performance":

NAT GAS: 600,000 people working in natural gas. Enough natural gas below our feet to sustain our country for 100 years. Give me a break: T Boone Pickens and Senator Harry Reid have been after the President for 4 years to embrace Natural gas for trucks and build the infrastructure. He wanted no part of it.

CLEAN COAL from West Virginia: Forget it. Coal mines are shutting. Utilities have been mandated to transistion to other fuels by EPA.

THEY ARE COMING HOME: American companies are coming home to manufacture products. BS. Apple builds everything over there. GE, the CEO of who is his jobs advisor, has invested billions in transitions to China. We now build all the "new" light bulbs over there. EPA extended the life of the "old" bulb until after the election to hold off the closing of many US plants and the layoff of hundreds of employees until after the election.

OPENING UP OIL DRILLING: He opened little, he gave out permits to drill on private land that was already open to exploration. The increase in Oil and Gas that allowed America to reduce the imports came from technology in fracturing that his EPA is now trying to shut down. He turned down the Keystone pipeline extension. He shut down the deep water drilling in the Gulf.

WIND AND BATTERIES: Thousands of people making batteries and wind mills. More likely wasted money in bankrupt companies trying to make solar panels now made in China and imported the the USA.A VOLT that won't sell. #1 selling Hybrid Prius made by the Japanese. And, now he tells us his standards will double gas mileage in ten years--note he said GAS! Not electric. Americas leading selling cars are SUVs and Pickup trucks.

FOREIGN POLICY: He finished GWB's drawdown in Iraq with GWBs Secretary of Defense at the helm. HIS war and surge in AFGHANISTAN under his Secretary of Defense is stalled out and awaits only the election for us to abandon the women we liberated by 2014. Another promise. Iran races to the nuclear weapon undeterred by sanctions not honored by Russia or China. Putin thinks the Cold War still exists--not the Reppublicans only because this President sends him secret messages--wait for the election then we'll BE MORE FLEXIBLE. Egypt rolls toward Muslim extremist rule. Syria slaughters the freedom fighters as we ignore it. China does what it wants, cyber attacks US companies and gathers in more US bonds along the way.

HEALTHCARE: Costs are being cut. Anyone get their premium for 2013 yet? See any reduction? See it hold steady? Nope up 15% at least once again.

EDUCATION: US schools are thriving. Thriving? 32nd in the world in math. And, yet tuition cost for college are up 10% a year. Teachers pay frozen. And, he will add 100,000 new teachers. really? Who will pay for them? China?

LEADERSHIP: None. DETAILS: None.

It was the only performance he could give based on his record.

HILLARY'S ABSENCE ;but aren't LAWS governing this Administration - OPTIONAL ?

A note: Hillary was not there because as Secretary of State she is prohibited by law from attending.
