Biography:
Bill Bowen earned foreign policy degrees from the US Air Force Academy and Georgetown University before serving in the intelligence community and on the staff of the Secretary of Defense. He has been a vice president (purchasing and logistics) of two Fortune 500 companies. His government experience includes two terms on a Wisconsin school board and a year as foreperson of the San Francisco Civil Grand Jury.
Political Philosophy:
Bill's political inspiration comes from William F. Buckley Jr., Melvin Laird, and Condoleezza Rice. As a conservative, he believes in the worth, opportunity, and responsibility of all people, and evaluates policies and politicians in terms of security, economics, and social justice.
Interests:
He enjoys personal finance, politics/government, world history, and the Boston Red Sox - as well as his family.
